About Us

Hope Montessori Nursery School is a new facility based in one of the most modern new developments in Central London: West End Quay at Paddington Basin (close to Hilton Metropole).

To commemorate our anniversary we are introducing two additional classrooms in our new facility on Marylebone Lane: Marylebone Lane.

Hope Montessori utilises the teaching methods of Dr Maria Montessori which has just celebrated its Centenary Year and includes the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

West End Quay is a small, bright and safe premises with access to an outdoor play area together with the open parks and squares of our immediate area.

Regular outings are scheduled for the children to parks, museums and sports facilities. We use local parks together with open space to the rear of the school for our outdoor activities. We are a few minutes walk from Seymour Leisure Centre on Seymour Place where we use Jungle Gym and swimming facilities.

We provide a happy and protected mixed age environment for 28 children aged 2 - 8 years old.

Marylebone Lane is our new Nursery School and is in a lovely quiet road just north of Oxford Street and next to the popular area of Marylebone High Streetwith its shops and restaurants. We cater for children under 24-months and up to 8-years of age.

Our children will be provided with every opportunity to fulfil their developmental potential and to become self-confident, independent individuals!

Children work with materials developed by Dr. Maria Montessori under guidance from teachers. At Hope Montessori our children are free to choose their own activities, explore them and to discover their hidden goals.

Consequently, a child will master a series of skills, which lay the foundation for their future educational and social life.

We will help children to grow a sense of responsibility, belonging and self-confidence.

Most importantly Hope Montessori will give a child first hand knowledge in making friends and the experience of being a part of a group. We work with them in a loving and understanding way so that a child feels a sense of security and comfort from their very first day.

All equipment and materials are designed for children and give them the space and time to move freely and perfect their motor coordination.

The teacher guides the children and puts them in touch with all parts of their environment and facilitates their social development.
